The 26th Hay Festival of Literature & Arts is an annual literature festival held in Hay-on-Wye, Powys, in Wales for ten days from 23rd May until 2nd June 2013.

The festival opens with The Hay Library Lecture given by Quentin Blake; John McCarthy and Sandi Toksvig explore Palestine and Israel; Rowan Williams and Neil MacGregor discuss imagery and faith; Bangladeshi Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus and Nick Stern analyse micro-finance and sustainability; Mary Robinson and Helena Kennedy discuss human rights; and actors and writers Dawn French and Rupert Everett tell stories. The tenth anniversary of the Iraq War is marked in this year's Joseph Rotblat Lecture given by IAEA chief and weapons inspector Hans Blix.

The festival has expanded in recent years and now includes musical performances and film previews. A children's festival, 'Hay Fever', runs alongside the main festival.
