Now in its 6th year Hachfest is a 3-day event, taking place from the evening of Friday 30th July until Sunday 1st August 2010, at Mutimer's Meadow in Hacheston, Suffolk. The festival aims to provide a great weekend of entertainment for all the family, showcasing local live music over two stages, and raising money for local charities. Last year the festival raised over £6,00.

Musically each night of the festival has a theme.

Line-up

Friday: Rave On, Boulevard Blonde, Backstreet, Walkway, Matt White & The Emulsions, and Electric Dreams.
Saturday: The Beat, Audioporn, Brigade, Angry Vs The Bear, Gideon Conn, The Glamtastics, Popes Of Chillitown, Clay .
Plus BBC Introducing: Ten City Nation, JG Harding, Umbrella Assassins, Voodoo Browne, Louise Collins, The Waxing Captors, The Great Shakes.
Sunday: Whiskey Chaser, Brewer Street Kazoo Band, The B Goodes, Caution Horses, Crumbs For Comfort, Voodoo's Child, Roy, The Lullabys, Dead Beats, and Skin The Fish.

One of the highlights planned for the 2010 event is the BBC Introducing sessions. The team from BBC Radio Suffolk will be taking over the Hachfest stages on the Saturday afternoon, and have been given free reign to showcase the best acts from the BBC Introducing selection! BBC Introducing supports unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar musicians.

Tickets

Weekend tickets are priced at £25 (accompanied under 14s free). Day tickets are priced at £10 for Friday, £15 for Saturday, and tickets for Sunday are priced at £5. To buy tickets, click here.

Other entertainment

The festival is family friendly offering plenty of activities off-stage for all the family, including this year a circus skills workshop, face painting & many other stalls. Food & refreshments are provided on site all weekend.

Charities

Proceeds go to local charities. Last year the event raised over £6000 for local charities. The main charities to benefit from Hachfest 2010 will be East Anglian Air Ambulance, St Elizabeth Hospice, Help for Heroes, and Childhood Eye Cancer Trust.
