The Great Escape features hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at over 60 venues all over Brighton, with around 450 artists.

The dates for the 15th edition are confirmed as Wednesday 10th until Saturday 13th May 2023.

Line-up

The line-up features some of the world’s most exciting emerging acts ahead of their festival appearances, including The Pretenders, Aine Deane, Alienblaze, Artemas, Bambie Thug, Deyaz, Girls Of The Internet, Grove, Jessica Winter, Joey Valence & Brae, Lip Critic, Lozeak, Luci, Melin Melyn, Meyy, Mickey Callisto, Nell Mescal, Redolent, San Soucis, Sarah Kinsley, Seraphina Simone, She's in Parties, Shelf Lives, The Dinner Party, The Heavy Heavy, and Witch Fever, The Big Moon, Sad Night Dynamite, Willie J Healey.Plus loads more, over 450 acts in total to be announced.

Tickets for 2023 are on sale currently priced at £85 for a three day early bird ticket.

A festival ticket gives access to the core venues, subject to each venues' capacity.

A small number of the shows will take place at The Dome in Brighton; to ensure guaranteed access to Dome Shows, attendees will be able to top up their festival wristband for a small fee, or purchase separate gig tickets.

International partner

The Great Escape's lead international partnerships have enabled new and emerging artists from some of the most exciting music markets in the world to showcase their talents in front of the festivals internationally diverse audience of industry and festival goers.

The lead country partner for 2023 has yet to be announced.

The Convention

As well as the live music, there's also a number of interviews with luminaries from the world of Music and Media, to show the way in which success is achieved, as well as educational panels, workshops and networking sessions. The UK's premiere music business convention, is a place for music industry professionals from across the world to exchange knowledge, ideas, contacts and business.
