The 2010 annual Free Folkfest in Burnham-on-Sea expands this year by an extra day and will take place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th September 2010.
This is an acoustic folk festival, with free activities in pubs around the town centre with over 90 acts, dancers, workshops, exhibitions, market, refreshments, kids' entertainment at various venues throughout Burnham-on-Sea. All free.
Line-up
Show of Hands (plus Myranda Sykes) headlining the oipening concert on Friday. Other acts confirmed include Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra, Hedgepig, Pyrates!, Stompin' Dave Allen, Rosie Eade, Three Sheets T'Wind, Phil King, A Parcel Of Rogues, The Sea Kings, Elliot Hall, Mississippi MacDonald, Mireille Mathlener, Boxcar Aldous Huxley, Hattie Hatstar, Dub Liberators, Pink Froot, Cole Stacey, Davey Malone, Broken Road, Sloe Jam, Stanton Delaplane, Richard Craine, and Richie Keedwell. This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Burnham-on-Sea.Workshops
