Download is back for it's fourth year over the weekend of 9th - 11th June 2006.
The acts are confirmed, with Tool, Metallica and Guns N' Roses headlining, plus The Prodigy, Korn, Deftones, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine and many more playing during the weekend - click here for the details to date including day and stage splits. There's around 100 mainly heavy rock bands over the three days on three stages.
Tickets are on sale, priced at £115 for the three days, or £135 including camping and parking. Campervans cost £35, and parking is £5 in advance or £10 on the day. Day tickets are priced at £55 for any day. Weekend with camping tickets are sold out, and day tickets for the Saturday are also sold out. Click here to buy.
The campsite opens on Wednesday 7th June at midday, the festival gates at midday on Friday, and 10am on Saturday and Sunday, with the campsite closing at midday on Monday 12th June.
In a change to previous years, the campsite’s entertainment area will be around the third stage and will run from when the main stage ends until 4:00am each day, and the brand new entertainment zone will run 24hrs from 6:00pm on Wednesday 7 June until 4:00am on Monday 12 June. The Campsite Entertainment Zone, which has a café, beer stall, funfair rides, various shops, and a cinema. Note that you may NOT bring any alcohol onto the site.
Markets should include a variety of food from around the world, as well as clothes, jewellery, massages, piercing & tattoos, organic foods, souvenirs, merchandise, chairs, and other stuff.
