A weekend of family fun set in a beautiful location on the the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 16 miles east of Kendal in the south east corner of Cumbria. This festival now in its third year takes place at various venues,pubs, and the campsites around Dent from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th June 2011.

Line-up

Dick Gaughan, Boo Hewerdine, Heidi Talbot with Boo Hewerdine & John McCusker, Charlie Dore, Barron Brady, Dent Choir, Franco & the Dreadnought, Holly Taymar, Hyperpotamus, Kitchen Drinkers, Luke Hirst & Sarah Smout, The Good Intentions, Mary Webb with Out of the Sun, Maurice Dickson & Catherine Ashcroft, Sadie Jemmett, The Convulsions, The Dog Roses, The Durbervilles, The Ginjammers, and Wilful Missing, and more to come. Expect over 25 mainly Acoustic Acts covering Folk, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Jazz & all points in between on 2 stages.

The Pubs

Squeeze into the Sun Inn or the George & Dragon in the centre of Dent for real ales, home cooked food and a great atmosphere. The music is spontaneous, occasionally organised, so don't miss out on many a good time.

Children's area

A separate area on the festival field will be dedicated to entertaining the children. The festival will host a number of children's games over the weekend with a mix of live entertainment as well.

Accommodation

There are three campsites in the village only 5 minutes walk from the festival site and various B&Bs are also available. There is free off site parking for ticket holders and all of the venues are wheelchair accessible.
