The Darvel Music Festival is set in Darvel, a small East Ayrshire town (22 miles from Glasgow), and plays host to a variety of bands spanning indie, country, celtic, traditional and more.

This year's festival will run from Friday 4th until Saturday 6th May 2012.

Line-up

Friday: Mud Morganfield (Muddy Waters Junior), Hamilton Loomis, Blues and Trouble.

Saturday: The Big Dish, Red Sky July.

Sunday: Love and Money (NB: No support - band performing two full sets).

Tickets are priced at £55 for a weekend tickets, and £20 for Friday and Saturday, or £22.50 for Sunday. To buy tickets, click here.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
