THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Cloud 9 Festival has been cancelled.

A statement from organisers says:
"After some difficult conversations, it with a heavy heart and deep regret that, due to financial pressures, we announce to you the cancellation of Cloud 9 Festival 2012.

We are so very sad to have to end a project that has been so dear to us for the past four years. We have seen our festival grow from a party between friends to last year’s event which saw our wonderful crowd grow to nearly five thousand. As we reflect on this huge achievement, only made possible by the outstanding individuals who have given to this project their limitless time and love, we can’t express how heartbreaking this decision has been to make.

The festival environment this year has been incredibly difficult for many small, independent festivals and has proved to be too challenging for us to overcome. We would in no way want to continue when there is a chance the quality of your experience would suffer and we wave goodbye knowing last year was absolutely incredible. As for 2012, we fully believe that the outstanding artists on our line up would have made Cloud 9 2012 the best one yet and to them we extend a huge thank you and our heartfelt apologies.

To all of our fans, followers contractors and suppliers; our fantastic crowd: thank you for your unwavering support and turning up in your thousands. The feedback we had last year makes us speechless with pride. Thank you for taking the time to get in touch and share your memories of Cloud 9 with us. We understand there will be some disappointment and if you would like to get in touch and share any comments- good or bad- please do so via our Facebook group or get in touch at talk@cloud9festival.co.uk

Goodbye and have a great summer

The Cloud 9 Team
