Chiddingly Festival is now 34 years old and happens from Thursday 27th September to Saturday 7th October in the village of Chiddingly is in East Sussex, near to Hailsham, North of Eastbourne.

Line-up

Artists of national and international renown have come to this small village, performing in intimate surroundings which creates a unique experience for the audience. The festival has also given a platform for artists starting out on their careers.

Acts confirmed are Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin, Mardi Brass, Claire Martin, Cecilia Stalin, and Little Machine.

The festival programme includes events to suit all ages and tastes. Entirely organised by volunteers, and a not for profit event, it celebrates all the arts with music classical, folk, jazz, drumming); poetry; dance; puppetry; story-telling and literature; and comedy headlined by Hardeep Singh. Entertainment for kids from Circus Berzercus.

The Beer Festival Weekend is a mini festival in itself providing alongside ales and ciders live music, plus a BBQ, workshops on Belly dance, drumming, and Acapella singing. Mardi Brass children's workshop. Art and Craft Exhibition.

All acts start at different times but 8pm is usual for evenings.
