Now in it's 7th year, the festival is extended by a day and presents both national and local artistes. As well as song & dance there are also workshops, children's events, indoor camping and real ale.
This year's line-up includes: Fairport Convention;Frankie Armstrong; Roy Bailey & Tony Benn; Belshazzar's Feast; Clamjaphry and Mick Brooks;Pete Coe;Maggie Boyle & Gorddon Tyrall; Dr Faustus;Folk South West;Robin Garside;Martin Graebe; Malthouse Passage; Bara Grimsdottir & Chris Foster;Hoover the Dog; Dave Hunt;Last Night's Fun;Loctup Together; Old Rope String Band;Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman;Rayburn 3 Step; Ron Taylor & Jeff Gillet; Eddie Upton; Brass Monkey.
Most of the events take place in the Edwardian Town Hall. Workshops, etc. happen throughout the event, as well as a small market selling clothes, books, arts & crafts, musical instruments and CDs and cassettes of festival artistes and others.
Food includes vegetarian dishes, and there are real ales too. The town centre and all-day car parks are within a few minutes’ walk.
Accommodation Indoor camping is available. (NOTE - we're not sure if this is included in the price - ask when phoning about tickets!) B&Bs - there are plenty of these within walking distance of the Town Hall. Phone Cheltenham Tourism for information on 01242 522878.
