The Buxton Festival Fringe is an open access arts festival with a large music section. It runs from Wednesday 8th until Sunday 26th July 2015 at numerous venues across Buxton, in Derbyshire.

Line-up

The music programme includes Albion, Aprille and the Shower, Basin Street Jazz & Blues, City of Manchester Opera, Ordsall Acappella Singers, Dale Storr, Drum Tribe, Sovereign Saxophone Octet, DaleDiva, Hallé Cello, Club Acoustic, High Peak Orchestra, Jonathan Ellis, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Soweto Spiritual Singers, Cheshire Chamber Collective, Derbyshire City and County Youth Orchestra, Derby & Derbyshire Schools' Orchestra,and Sam Slide & Friends.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of campsites, hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

The Fringe runs in parallel to the Buxton Festival, which features a programme of opera and classical music.
