Liverpool's Brazilica Festival takes place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July at Derby Square.

Programme

There are no acts confirmed yet for the festival celebrating the vibrant culture of Brazil including the annual Carnival Ball and Carnival Queen Competition, Brazilian film screenings, carnival art exhibitions and more. Full programme details to be announced soon.

The carnival parade will take place in the evening and will include samba groups from countries from across the globe, and showcasing the best Brazilian bands, surrounded by Brazilian street food stalls, caipirinha bars and more.

Events will take place in venues across the city leading up to the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics Games.

Tickets

This isn't a ticketed event as the carnival/parade and workshops are all FREE.  Although the afterparty on Saturday night will have an entry fee.

Accommodation

The festival offers no accommodation at the event. There are plenty of accommodation options available in the city.
