The 9th UK international Boogie Woogie Festival will be held at The Club Room, Sturminster Newton British Legion, Bath Road, in Sturminster Newton, in Dorset from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July 2013, and was formerly the 'Fomag' Boogie Woogie festival held in nearby Fontmell Magna.

Bob Seeley (USA), Jean-Paul Amouroux(France), Balazs Daniel (Hungary), Big John Carter (UK), Jelly Germain (Cameroon), Julian Phillips (UK), James Goodwin (UK), Emily Lees (UK), Daniel Moore (UK), Chris Corcoran Trio, Chris Davidson (UK), Howard Meyrick, Patrick Smet (Belgium), Eeco Rijken Rapp (Netherlands), Lasse Jensen (Denmark), Simon King (UK), and Henk Huisman (Netherlands).

The festival encompasses acts performing the form of piano music that is boogie woogie. Performing in concert, will be internationally acclaimed boogie woogie and blues pianists from the UK and from all around the world.

There are also workshops in boogie woogie piano, swing and tap dance, drumming, history of boogie woogie and more with special workshops for children. There will also be informal sessions for enthusiastic boogie woogie pianists with a traditional bar room setting. Plus there will be food, wine, and real ales on offer at the inn.
