Barnsley Original Music Festival (BOMFest) will be held at Locke Park on Saturday the 19th of July, running from 12pm til 10pm.

The event has a limit of 5000 tickets, which are on sale from local outlets for £5 and on the day of the event at £10, if any are remaining. The Festival has moved from the Old Barnsley Main Pit Site because of the limited numbers, with the growth of interest in BOMfest the organisers had to it move to a larger arena with five stages.

A number of acts are confirmed. On the main stage are:-
The Lovers, G.U. Medicine, Kava Kava, The Headliners, Mid Air 91, Green Man Says Go, The Murmurs Of Tension, Nordgarden, Rook And The Ravens, Kal Els Cape, The Delicateers, and Meonia Void with more still to be added.

On the 2nd Stage:-
Skinboat, Raised By Animals, Geek Girl, The Underclass, The Dead Rabbits, Driftrun, Cocean, Del Fuego, Lifescreen, Allegro Fall, C F Bundy, & Callus.

In the BOM Acoustic Tent:-
Nik Harper, 3 Wise Men, Nordgarden, Katus, Leon Odoherty, Cara Robinson, Stuburt + Moon, Ben Pike, Jon Strong, Bruise, Kirk Mcelhinney, Brother Crow, and Eddie O Dywer.

The BOM Urban stage has:- Celt Islam, Revolver, Listen Deejay, Ground Level, Sasqwax, Sagar, Zlnsky, Rob Whitehouse, Deejay Time, and Northzone.

There is also a have a go stage this year with an open mic. There will be a variety of stalls at the festival from jewelry, records and craft stalls. Food vendors will be supplying burgers, hot dogs, Caribean food and sandwiches etc. There will be a bar area onsite in the main arena which will be open from 1pm until 10pm on the day. There will be a creative art activity for children, with a procession at 4.30pm around the site. African percussion exhibition, football coaching, and more.
