last updated : Mon 30th Jul 07 NOTE: the date for this event has changed - it's now 16-18 August. Please note that Bloodstock Indoor is cancelled. Bloodstock is to hold its third Open Air festival. The aim is to offer a traditional Rock Music Festival comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's. A number of acts have been announced including Testament, Lacuna Coil, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, Sabbat, and Nevermore. Click here for the line-up (as announced) - expect more acts to be announced soon. Bloodstock has a second stage dedicated to unsigned bands, providing a unique showcase for tomorrows music today, and also has the (in)famous metal karaoke. Tickets are now on sale, priced at £56 for both days, or £61 including camping. Parking costs £5 per car. Click here to buy. More information will be here when available.
