Beats Cornwall has been cancelled. They made a statement saying, "Dear BEATS16 people..... We’ve had to take a tough decision this week – to hold fire with the 2016 BEATS Cornwall , so that we can put on a successful and sustainable event next year that will take BEATS forward, rather than run something a little too stretched for us all to fully enjoy."
The 3rd annual BEATS Cornwall drumming & dance festival takes place from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st August 2016 and offers 3 days of drumming & dance at the North Cornish coast at Porthtowan's Mount Pleasant Eco Park.
Line-up
The first tutors confirmed are Dembele Sidiki , Simone Sou, Mohamed Gueye, Mariana Pinho, Diene Sagna, Jon Hardeman, Chartwell Dutiro, Samuel Nkrumah Yeboah, and Pão De Milho.
Tickets
An early bird weekend ticket is priced at £115 and includes all tuition, access to evening performances & camping from Thurs from 5pm through till Monday AM. A child's weekend ticket is £35.

The event brings tutors of African & Brazilian rhythm to Cornwall, with workshops all day, and evening performances by night, festival style cafe selling vegetarian cuisine, plus camping all on a beautiful North Cornish coastal site.
