Base Camp Festival is a new festival that takes the atmosphere of a weekend music festival and mixes it with adventure that takes place at Darley Dale, in the Peak District from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September 2014.

Live music each night will come from acts including the Balkan Bandits, and more to be announced.

A festival weekend ticket is priced at £99.25 (plus booking fee) which includes entry to the festival, camping, speakers, entertainment and free adventures. Additional activities can also be booked when purchasing a ticket.

By day you can join others to kayak, hike, climb, mountain bike and cave. There will be presentations and workshops by top explorers, including Andy Kirkpatrick, Niall Mccan, Andy Torbet, Phoebe Smith, Chris Jewell, Helen Turton and more.

Activities

Some activities are paid for others are free, these include caving, guided MTB ride, climbing, guided walks, navigation workshop, river tubing, bushcraft workshop, tandem kayak, outdoor photography, abseiling, slacklining, film making workshop, adventure writing, bike touring workshop, expedition planning, and more.
