Returning for a third year AsparaFest mixes a music festival with a strong food element and takes place at Ashdown Farm, Badsey, Nr Evesham, in Worcestershire from 10am on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May 2015.

Line-up

Latest additions Bayou Seco, Kings & Folk, Manos Puestas Trio, Ruby Lamont, Worcester Levellers, The Strays, and Shout Choir.

The first acts confirmed were The Wurzels, The Moulettes, Thrill Collins, Blackbeard's Tea Party, Flutatious, Hillbilly Troupe, Shout Choir, Worcester Ukulele Club, and Pistol Pete & Model Folk.

Expect a line-up of music acts alongside traditional Morris Dance, Belly dancers, Bhangra Dance, Molly Dancers, Appalachian Step and Sword Dancing. Plus family fun with Junkfish, the Quack Pack, Animal Magic and Falconry Days

Cooking guests include Felice Tocchini, Our Lizzy, Thomas Court (Sticky Fig), Word in Veg Ways, and Nanas Food Japan. Plus family fun with Katy Ashcroft from CBeebies I Can Cook (Sat), Easy Peasy Cookery, Duck Herding with The Quack Pack, Wyld Thyngs Forest School, Professor Popup, Animal Magic, Falconry Days, Junkfish, Storytelling, Music, Workshops, Wychavon Community Roadshow, Heart of England Ferret Association, Pony Rides, Archery, Mask Making, Honeybourne Pottery, Worcester Barn Owls, Zorb Balls, Go Karting, Fun Fair and much more to be confirmed.

Tickets are priced at £15 for the weekend with camping, and weekend family with Camping (Up to 2 adults & 3 10-17s) ticket is priced at £40, a weekend with camping youth - 10-18 years (only valid with Adult ticket) ticket is priced at £10.

A weekend without camping ticket is £8.50, and a youth no camping ticket is £5.50, a family weekend no camping ticket is £27, and children aged under 10 years can attend free.

Asparafest is a new friendly festival billed as an extreme village fete. An A to Z of weekend entertainment from Asparagus Eating Competitions through to a Zoo of the petting variety. Festival goers can expect music, the freshest of food, fascinating farm & country crafts, frolicsome fun, barrels of beer, and asparagus in a chilled atmosphere suitable for families.

Toddlers to teenagers will all find something to do at AsparaFest. A petting zoo, a vintage fair and the Youth Activity Zone, and an arts and crafts tent.
