Chill in the Park 2006

Claiming to be a modest chillout event with big ambitions, this is an afternoon which aims to celebrate 'World of Nottingham music', with a line-up that captures the cosmopolitan spirit of this East Midland city, a snapshot of the city's wealth of musical diversity.

Confirmed acts include: Jazz/folk trio, Haikis Troika; Vietnamese singers, Ha & Chi; singer/songwriter guitarist, Melanie; Angolan percussion/vocalist Nay; live hip hop duo Jay (MC) & D Dee (Human Beatbox); traditional Chinese musicians, Ling Peng & Xiao Ying; and Long Journey Home featuring music from the Middle East and South Asia, human beatboxer LIPPICOOL, Persian and Kurdish music from Iran with Hamayoun and Farhad, lassical Bollywood songs by RAJ and singer songwriter vs DJ The Laidback Project featuring Rapunzel M.A.P. All are supported by The New Laidbackism’s DJ D? C.I.?

Gates open at noon with the music finishing at around 6pm.
