Air Fusion Festival 2005

Now in it's sixth year, Air Fusion offers a programme of street entertainers, comedy, music (including a wide range of pop and rock bands), theatre and dance. Much of this is selected from young local groups, with professional acts throughout and headline bands at night providing a platform for young local performers to be enjoyed by all. There are two stages and a very lively dance tent (unfortunately it all stops at midnight but it's still well worth a visit).

This year's line-up has now been announced:
Main Stage: Including winning artists from Battle of the Bands plus Kyng Farouk, Morris Brother Band (Feat. Guitarist of the year Jas Morris), Morph, Obientbone (Drum & Bass Live P.A), Soulshaker, Watershed, Envy & Other Sins, Vitriolic, French Act Skyscraper and many more plus some very special guests.
Dance tent: Club circuit DJs include Scorpio, Matt Vinyl, Ben McGowan, Tim Coe (Nukleuz), Joe Freeze, DJ Smoothhound, Katalyst Records, Blood Percussion and many more plus live P.A’s from Battleplan and Samba Rok. On Sunday there will be a music seminar showcase and a music technology workshop from professionals within the industry.
The Contemporary Stage is hosted by Stagecoach Theatre Arts School for interactive workshops (Saturday free workshop 12-1pm drama for children & 2-4pm contemporary dance) and performances from local acts and theatre organisations.

Children will be kept amused by street entertainers, drama and other outdoor attractions including walkabout entertainment from Firefly, Sea Gypsies and Folkbeard. You can also take a trip through the Einstein Marquee or World Music tent.
