Global music and culture festival WOMAD, which takes place at Charlton Park, near Malmesbury, in Wiltshire and was due to take place from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th July 2020 has been cancelled.

The statement includes words from WOMAD founder Peter Gabriel, and says "many of the artists have already offered, or agreed, to play for us next year and we will now put our energies into making a great WOMAD 2021". Tickets remain valid for next year's event which will happen from 22nd-25th July 2021, or refunds are available if wanted.
