The Fratellis, and Will Varley, are among the latest acts announced for new festival TexFest which will happen at Market Harborough Showground, Leicestershire from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2018

Also newly confirmed are local acts Charlotte Carpenter, Aztec Temples, ska-punk quartet Last Edition, DJ Antonio Kolic, and Hashtags from Market Harborough.

Festival Director, Shaun French, commented, “We’ve had such a positive response to the festival so far and we want to make sure that the local music scene is involved. Some acts we were already aware of and have been keen to add them to the bill and we’re also looking forward to seeing more other fantastic acts through the audition process.”

“The Fratellis were a band that we were keen to have on the line-up since the early planning stages of Texfest. Chelsea Dagger is such an iconic festival anthem and with their new album due out it’s an exciting time for them to be coming back!’

The new acts join those previously confirmed, which include Example & DJ Wire, Pigeon Detectives, We Are Scientists, Tinchy Stryder, The Hoosiers, The South, Nick Grimshaw (DJ set), Beans on Toast, Lewis Watson, and more. For all the line-up details so far including day splits as available please see the line-up page.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £100 for an adult for the weekend (full price £120), with camping priced at £30 extra. Day tickets are also available, priced at 360 for either of Saturday or Sunday.
