Next year's London International Ska Festival has announced the first headline event will by Babylon Live - London's iconic reggae film brought to you by the soundtrack composer Dennis Bovell and special guest.

Also confirmed are Argentina's Hugo Lobo, Back To The Planet, The Equators, The Bionic Rats from Ireland, The Mighty Cosmics, Miserable Man from Italy, Aggressors BC from Northern Ireland, 65 Mines Street from France, Leo and the Lineup from Denmark, The Meow Meows, The Autonomads, Junior Bill, The Bighead, and Counting Coins, plus DJ sets from Channel One Soundsystem, Axis Valv-A-Tron, Sounds & Pressure Sound System with Phil Bush, Last Gang In Town, and Lucky Cat Zoe with many more to be announced.

Now in it's seventh year the London International Ska Festival is set to take place across multiple London venues (one wristband gets you into all of them) over Easter Weekend from Thursday 13th through to Monday 17th April 2017.

The festival is set to highlight all that's good about the world of ska, from it's roots in American Rhythm & blues, to the Jamaican originators, through the 2 Tone era and right up-to-date with 21st century ska sounds with 50+ acts at 20 events.

The early bird offer has ended, tickets are priced at £110 (plus booking fee) for all four days. Tickets for individual events will also be available.

As well as the main events further fringe events take place including cinema, DJ all-nighters, Record Fair, Thames cruise, which will all build into a week's worth of shows at legendary London venues.
