Headliners Turin Brakes, plus Delta Ladies, Happnin Boy & Harmonica Mike, Jamie Williams and the Roots Collective, Joe Anderton, Katie Bradley, Middle Age Spread, October Glow, Paolo Morena, Primo Nelson, Rum Honey, Salvation Jayne, Stealing Signs, Stretch Soul Gang, The Kubricks, The Lemoncurd Kids , The Midnight Barbers, The Ouse Valley Singles Club, The Sharpees, and Silent Disco are the first acts to be announced for the 8th annual The Fling Festival which returns to Hylands Park, Chelmsford in Essex this summer.
The one day festival of assorted amusements for adults only offers live music, cabaret, and curiosities and will take place on Saturday 2nd July 2016.
"We are very pleased to announce that our headliners for 2016 will be Turin Brakes. We feel they perfectly fit the profile of the Fling and we were absolutely delighted when they agreed to play." Said Andy Winmill, Festival Director.
Tickets are priced at £27.50 or £47.50 with camping.
The Fling Festival isn’t all about the music, with hundreds of comedy, cabaret, side-shows and other performances taking place across the day.
A playful festival specifically aimed at those aged over 18 and inhabited by the wonderful, the weird and the bizarre. The festival stars a cast of local talent and professional artistes across myriad tents, tepees and domes.
