Two UK exclusive performances from headliners Sensational Space Shifters ft Robert Plant, and The Flaming Lips performing The Soft Bulletin lead the line-up announced for Wilderness festival, set to be held at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire from Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th August 2016.

Also confirmed are Crystal Fighters, Parov Stelar, Lianne La Havas, Goldie & The Heritage Orchestra performing Timeless, Glass Animals, Matt Corby, Shura, Tourist, Georgia, Rosie Lowe, Elias, Hackney Colliery Band, Holy Moly & the Crackers, The Buffalo Skinners, Gentle Mystics, Batch Gueye, Screamin' Miss Jackson & The Slap Ya' Mama Big Band, Tantz, Theo Bard, Apple Of My Eye, Martha Tilston, Garance and the Mitochondries, Cut a Shine, The Dovetail Trio, Cardboard Fox, and Stompin Dave Allen.

Plus The Valley will host, late night parties with A Love from Outer Space: Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston, Derrick Carter (Disco Set), Tom Middleton, Goldie Influences set, Jackmaster, and PBR Streetgang.

The festival which is curated by Live Nation these days offers musicianship, theatre, talks, panel debates, late-night parties, outdoor pursuits and food experiences returns for a fifth year and will also host grand ceremonies & spectaculars including the Saturday Night Spectacular, The Wilderness Cricket Match hosted by Bearded Kitten, The Fire Walking Ceremony & Fire Show, Bonfire Lighting Ceremonies, and Oxford vs Cambridge Bearded Kitten Boat Race. Stages & encampments on site include Introducing The Atrium supported by Time Out, The Juke Joint hosted by Petersham Road, The Carousel Stage hosted by Continental Drifts, Shangri-La & Global Local, The Travelling Folk Barn hosted by Woodburner Music, Two For Joy, The Local & EFDSS, Front Room Songs, and The Champagne Laurent-Perrier Orangery.

The long-table banquets return, with a feast provided by Raymond Blanc, Skye Gyngell, and Virgilio Martinez, and The Chef's Table supplied by Christian Puglisi (Relae, Copenhagen), Robin Gill (The Dairy), Tomos Parry (Kitty Fisher's), and Lee Westcott (Typing Room), plus feasting with Hix, Moro, and Petersham Nurseries. The Dining Room will hold Shotgun, Raw Duck, Quality Chop House, Maze Sushi, Duck & Waffle, with brand new food projects for this year including Patty & Pit Smokehouse With Pitt Cue Co. Sunday Feast, and Kitchen Tales curated by Angela Hartnett.

Outdoor Theatre on show this year deep in the heart of the forest includes Rogue Theatre, Oxford Shakespeare Company, and under the old oak trees will be Les Enfants Terrible's 'Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie'.

The great outdoor activities will include archery, secret adventures, wild swimming hunter gather cook foraging & butchery, entering the spirit forest and wild medicine walks with gateways to Eden, boating, fly fishing, and wild runs. Whilst encampments include The Green Crafts Village, The Secret Post Office A Curious Invitation’s Natural History Tent, and Guerilla Archaeology Presents The Big Dig. The wellbeing part of the site offers relaxation with the lakeside spa, expert massage & treatments in the sanctuary, meditation with headspace, yoga, ecstatic dance, and mindfulness sessions. Whilst in The Twilight Zone will be Shotgun Carousel’s Oubliette, Badger Bedlam, and fire & circus performers. Workshops & participation on offer includes sports, games & races at the club house, mass dance challenge hosted by non applicable dance company, academia de capoeira mundo, ukulele lessons, croquet east, bittersuite: sensory moments Marawa’s majorettes hula hooping, hip hop karaoke, mass dance, swing patrol, perfume making, drumming workshops, and even a sound bath.

Early bird tickets have sold out. An adult weekend camping ticket is currently priced at £164.
Young person (aged 11-17 years) tickets are priced at £80, with tickets for children aged 10 years and younger priced at £5, A campervan ticket is priced at £65, and a car park ticket is priced at £10. A live in vehicle pass is £100.
