Rammstein are the final headlining act announced for next year's 14th Download Festival happening at Donington Park over the weekend of Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2016.

Making their final appearance before they retire will be Black Sabbath on Saturday, and Iron Maiden will top the bill on the Sunday with their only UK appearance of 2016. There are no other acts confirmed yet for next year, fans can expect three days of heavy rock music featuring around 150 acts over five stages at Donington Park, the spiritual home of rock!

Download festival promoter, Andy Copping, said, "I cannot wait for this year- three of the biggest names in rock are heading to Donington. Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath have legacies to rival Download Festival and its rich rock heritage, it’s a match made in rock heaven. The mighty Iron Maiden back after another yet another number 1 album, the legendary Black Sabbath on their final tour and Rammstein who blow me away every time I see them – their headlining set at Download 2016 will make rock history."
