Mary Chapin Carpenter, Moss, Moore, Rutter, Moulettes, The Young'Uns, Blair Dunlop, Jess Morgan, Gnoss, and London Youth Folk Ensemble are the latest acts announced for this summer's one day Folk by the Oak festival for 5,000, now in its eighth year, and set in the grounds of Hatfield House in Hertfordshire happening on Sunday 19th July 2015.

The first acts confirmed were Bellowhead, The Unthanks, Nancy Kerr, Keston Cobblers Club, and Lady Maisery.

Event Manager Adam said, "Folk by the Oak is proud to be one of those special festivals that remains small enough to be easy and accessible with a compact and leafy site, yet large enough to bring some of the best folk acts together for a truly uplifting summers day out."

The early bird offers have ended. An adult ticket is priced at £37, a child (aged 5 to 15 years) ticket is priced at £17, and children aged 4 and under are free, and do not require a ticket, with a family ticket (two adults and two children) priced at £100. Advance group bookings of 10 or more qualify for a £2 reduction per ticket.

Alongside two stages, Folk by the Oak includes craft tents, children’s activities. Storytelling, circus skills, vintage stalls and, of course, great food and drink.

Festival goers are invited to bring a picnic, but for safety reasons no fires or barbecues are allowed. Refreshments and bar will be available. Seating and cover is not provided so chairs, tables, picnic blankets and umbrellas are all allowed. No dogs, other than guide dogs, can be admitted. This is a non-camping event.
