Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Libertines, Sam Smith, and Bastille lead the first acts confirmed for Lollapalooza Berlin run by Festival Republic at Tempelhof Airport, taking place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2015.
Saturday headliners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be making their only performance in Europe, and it will be Sam Smith’s only festival performance. Also confirmed for Saturday are Parov Stelar, Fatboy Slim, Dog Blood (Skrillex & Boys Noize), Hot Chip, Chvrches, FFS (Franz Ferdinand & Sparks), Mighty Oaks, MS MR, James Bay, Digitalism, Everything Everything, Glass Animals, and Razz.
Sunday's main stage headliner will be unveiled in early June, with Seeed making their only German appearance that say on a biull that will include Beatsteaks, Sam Smith, Martin Garrix, Tame Impala, Robin Schulz, Kygo, Belle & Sebastian, Little Dragon, Run the Jewels, Crystal Fighters, My Morning Jacket, Clean Bandit, Dada Life, Klangkarussell (DJ-Set), Wolf Alice, Felix Jaehn, and Pond.
The early bird offer has ended. Weekend tickets are priced at 119 euros, and a child (aged 11-14 years) ticket is priced at 19 euros. Childtren aged 10 years and under tickets are free.
Lollapalooza Berlin is expected to have a similar format as the American edition of the festival, with a variety of musical acts, Kidzapalooza, as well as plenty of food, dashion, art and opportunities for social engagement.
