The Unthanks, Chris Wood & Andy Cutting, Martin Carthy, Peatbog Faeries, Leveret, Ten Strings and a Goatskin, The Wilsons, Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, Neil Innes, Gigspanner, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, Vin Garbutt, The Hut People, The Urban Folk Quartet, John Spiers, Mawkin, Faustus, Steve Tilston, False Lights, and FolkEast patrons The Young'Uns are the first acts to be announced for the third annual FolkEast festival taking place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August 2015 and returning to the 300 acres of parkland at Glemham Hall, in Suffolk.

With many more acts still to be announced.

The line-up will also include song and spoken word artists from The Get on the Soapbox team, ceilidhs and workshops from Broad Roots, plus sessions, walkabouts, storytellers, foragers and pigeon pluckers!

Prices will be on a tiered system. Early bird tickets are now on sale, priced at £85 for an adult ticket with camping, or £50 for those aged 13-17 years, plus booking fees. Children aged 12 years and under can attend for free. An early bird family ticket for 2 adults and 2 youth is priced at £250. Campervan passes are priced at £35. Day tickets will be available at a later date.

The festival also offers ceilidhs, Morris teams, song, dance and instrument workshops, sessions, mardling marquees, local ales & fine food as well as a vintage tea tent, storytelling, traditional craft & art stalls and demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities for children and adults alike to join in.
