The comedians that will be bringing the laughs to  the Spiegeltent each day between noon and 6pm, at the Desert Island Disco themed Bestival have been announced.

Leading the line-up heading for to Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, over the festival long weekend from Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th September 2014 are Nina Conti, Abandoman, Andrew Maxwell, Jarred Christmas, Daniel Sloss, Matt Richardson, Joel Dommett, Paul McCaffrey, Andy Askins, and Late Night Gimp Fight.

There will also be appearances from Alistair Barrie, Felicity Ward, Damian Clark, Gordon Southern, Barry Castagnola, Benny Boot, Matt Reed, Wayne Deakin, Kai Humphries, Danny McLoughlin, Ivo Graham, Paul Myrehaug, Lou Sanders, Sarah Bennetto, Alex Edelman, Luke Benson, Hannah George & Matt Hitt, and Marcus Olaoire.

Festival organisers Rob da Bank said, "There’s always so much to do at Bestival, sometimes even I don’t know which way to turn, but one thing you should definitely make time to check out is the comedy in the Spiegeltent. The line-up this year is top-notch with Nina Conti, Abandoman, young whippersnapper Daniel Sloss and our old mate Andrew Maxwell being just a few highlights from a line-up that includes some of the maddest funny people around."

Thursday headliner is Beck, Friday it's Outkast , Saturday is topped by Foals, and Sunday's headliner is Chic featuring Nile Rodgers. Early bird tickets including entry from Thursday are priced at £195 for Adult Tickets and £127 for Teen (age 13-17) Tickets. Tickets for children (age 12 & under) are free (but must have a ticket). A campervan ticket is priced at £90 and a caravan £101 (per vehicle), and car parking is priced at £15 advance (or £20 cash on arrival).

There is also a 25 week payment plan which means that an adult ticket can now be bought at a payment of £7.80 per week over 25 weekly payments.
