Somerset-based Charles Hazlewood the classical conductor has announced this year's Orchestival, happening at Royal Bath And West Showground in Somerset over the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2014.

Following the success of Orchestra In A Field, in 2012, Orchestival is set to evolve this initial idea even further. Over the two days the event will offer remarkable collaborations, mixing Squarepusher, The Unthanks, and Will Gregory Moog Ensemble (Goldfrapp) with the UK's leading orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and The British Paraorchestra, plus theatre group Kneehigh, and Ruth Wall to blur the lines between genres and offer symphonic collaborations themed around subjects like gaming soundtracks, and anthemic Acid House beats.

Other highlists includeThe British Paraorchestra, the world's first ever orchestra entirely consisting of virtuoso musicians with disability, performing pieces from their brand new project ‘Other' joined by several very special guests.

The main concert programme features:
Noye's Fludde: A new production in association with Kneehigh Theatre
The Unthanks: A new symphonic adventure
Ruth Wall
Tellers of Tall Tales: The Philharmonia with Haydn's Il Distratto, Richard Strauss' Don Quixote and closing with Strauss' iconicFour Last Songs
The Third Summer Of Love: Acid House goes symphonic
Very Special Guests and the Philharmonia
Score!: Live symphonic performances of some of the greatest video game music of all time
The British Paraorchestra: Other
The Will Gregory Moog Ensemble
Love At First Sight: The Philharmonia Orchestra present Mozart's 'Sinfonia Concertante, Wagner's Siegrried Idyll & Dvorak's New World Symphony
