eFestivals can exclusively reveal The Stranglers will headline the opening night of this summer's 10th family-friendly Wychwood Festival which returns to Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire.

The band who celebrate their 40th anniversary this year are sure to deliver a hit laden set for fans including 'Golden Brown', 'Always the Sun', 'Peaches', 'No More Heroes', 'Waltzin' Black', and many more.

Ahead of their main stage appearance will be Graham Gouldman's acoustic Heart Full Of Songs where the 10CC co-founder will present some of the hits he penned for other acts such as 'Look Through Any Window', 'Heart Full of Soul' and 'For Your Love', as well as songs from his new solo album and some 10cc classics such as 'I'm Not In Love' and 'Dreadlock Holiday'.

Also added to the bill of acts for the weekend of Friday 30th May until Sunday 1st June in 2014 are Bad Manners, The Gaslight Troubadours, and Thrill Collins .

The Smashing Blouse stage in the Big Top will be headlined on Sunday by Wolf Alice, with Benin City, Pixel Fix, and Racing Glaciers completing the latest names to be revealed.

Boomtown Rats headline Sunday mainstage, with the line-up also featuring Craig Charles, The Real Thing, Newton Faulkner, Gentleman's Dub Club, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, La Chiva Gantiva, Bipolar Sunshine, Glitches, Lloyd Yates, Sam Garrett, Phoria, Merry Hell, and Polly & the Billet Doux.

There are more acts to be confirmed including the Saturday night headliner.

There's also more announced for children with the latest Kid's Literature Festival additions. Wychwood Festival will be welcoming authors and illustrators including Korky Paul, Tony de Saulles, Phil Ardagh, Jo Cotterill, Jo Nadin, John Dougherty, Wendy Meddour, Christpher Edge, and Karen Langtree.

Plus comedians Paul Tonkinson, Gary Delaney, and Wes Zaharuk.

Adult weekend tickets are priced at £125, weekend disabled (2 for 1) tickets are priced at £125, youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £100, and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £60. Tickets for children aged 6 to 9 years old are priced at £20. Children aged 0-5 years can attend for free.

General camping passes (charged per person) for an adult weekend/disabled ticket is priced at £20, a weekend youth/concession camping pass is priced at £10, with those aged under 16s able to camp with grown ups for free. A campervan pass is priced at £60 with no additional camping passes needed.

Wychwood has established itself as being one of the best family festivals in the UK, and prides itself on its eclectic mix of Indie, pop, world and folk music programming combined with comedy (sponsored by eFestivals.co.uk), loads of workshops, seminars and creative activities for all ages, all on a compact site. 

The Wychwood Music Festival boasts four music stages with over 100 bands, plus comedy, 100 workshops and events for all ages, kids literature festival, healing and sculpture gardens, The Headphone Disco until the wee hours, great food and real ales, and much more.
