The 1975, Disclosure (DJ Set), and Wretch 32 are to headline the new Blackpool Rocks held at Blackpool Winter Gardens on Saturday 21st December 2013.

Also confirmed are Trevor Nelson, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Swim Deep, Little Comets, Rae Morris, Huw Stephens, Grum, Hannah Wants, Fully Charged, Jay Fontalba, M.O, DJ Elliott Smith, Giles Hayton, and Nick Coulson.

The event, which could be attended by up to 8,000 people is organised by Danny Howard, Alex Huckerby and Lytham Proms organisers Cuffe and Taylor.

Blackpool-born BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard said, “This is an incredible line-up for what will be an unbelievable night. Seven rooms, 8,000 people and some of the best acts around – this is just the start of the Blackpool Rocks movement. It’s one of the biggest, most innovative events to be unleashed on the North West in a long time.”
