The Arcadia Spectacular has been confirmed to return to this year's Glastonbury Festival in a new area of the Festival.

Arcadia have announced they will be taking their mega Arcadia Spectacular shows to both Glastonbury and BoomTown Fair this year. Aside from the two 'Spectacular' shows, Arcadia will be popping up at a select handful of UK festivals with their mix of mutated vehicles, after burner DJ Stages, installations and site art, as well as creating more incredible scrap metal masterpieces around the globe.

Arcadia will be bringing their hedonistic fusion of fire, aerial acrobatics, and bass pounding DJs to the fields of Pilton with their booming sound-system and sky-high flame throwing sculptures.

As previously revealed in an interview with organiser Emily Eavis they have been commissioned to move out of their usual spot in the 'late night' South-East naughty corner, to take up residence in The Other Stage field.

Allthough, no longer in their own field, so the external Arcadia sculptures and installations will be scaled back, they will still have a breath taking show that organisers say, "will be bigger and badder than ever!"

They have also been given the honour of kick starting the festival proceedings on Thursday night! Their show will start at 9.30pm so festival goers are encouraged to arrive nice and early to the sound field and ensure the ultimate Arcadia experience.

On the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, the 'Arcadia Spectacular' showcase will explode from midnight, after The Other Stage finishes and treat the Glastonbury crowds to three solid hours of unadulterated, out-of-this-world fire shows and bass pounding DJs. Arcadia will also host performances from a selection their international collaborators; element manipulators The Lords of Lightning and the thrilling display of the ultimate in fire art - the amazing (seriously) Fire Tornado.

The only other place to catch the full Arcadia Spectacular show for summer 2013 will be at BoomTown Fair (8th – 11th August 2013). Having landed with a mighty 'boom' in 2012, The Arcadia Spider took the craziness of BoomTown into another stratosphere! For BoomTown 2013, the Arcadia beast will once again be on the move, stomping its way through the winding streets of BoomTown and landing in the heart of DownTown! Arcadia will have even more space to do what it does best and set BoomTown’s night-crawling underbelly a light with heart thumping bass and electrifying entertainment!

Tickets have sold out for this summer's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 26th June until Monday 1st July 2013 across a 1000 hectares (2470 acres) of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. Resales of unwanted tickets will take place on Sunday 21st April 2013, for those who have registered beforehand so that they are eligible to buy a ticket.

Nas, Disclosure, Hot Natured, David Rodigan, Sub Focus, AlunaGeorge, Eats Everything, Rudimental, and The Congos, and Rokia Traore are confirmed so far for the Festival, but as usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2013 rumours, updated as we receive information.

UK ticket balances will be payable following the Easter Weekend from 09:00 Tuesday 2nd April until 23:59 Monday 8th April, when there will also be options to book everything else needed (tipis, campervan tickets, parking, cancellation protection).

Tickets have sold out, a resale of tickets returned by those deciding not to pay their balances will happen on Sunday 21st April. A standard ticket is priced at £205 + £5 booking fee per ticket + £6 P&P per booking.
