The announcement coincides with the airing tonight on BBC Three of 'Don't Tell the Bride' which was filmed at this year's Wickerman Festival.

Early Bird prices are £90 for Weekend adult tickets, £45 for Weekend concession tickets, £60 for Saturday adult tickets with tickets free for under 12's. For all those taking caravans or campervans to Wickerman a basic pitch is priced at £30 or £80 for a pitch including an electric hook up. These prices will be frozen until 31st October. Full price tickets will then go on sale from Monday 5th November.

The Wickerman Festival takes place at East Kirkcarswell Farm in Dumfries & Galloway and takes place from Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July, 2013. As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.

The Wickerman Festival Coordinator, Helen Chalmers commented, "We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer fans the opportunity to snap up their early bird tickets so soon after this year's hugely successful festival. Having had global superstars Scissor Sisters and Scottish legends Texas topping the bill - plus the surprise live filming of 'Don't Tell The Bride' - we've a hard act to follow but we're determined to make next year's festival even better!.

No acts are confirmed yet for 2013. As well as the the music Wickerfans have enjoyed grass sledging, fun fairs, dance lessons, headphone disco, movie screenings, wood carving and even ice skating at previous festivals.

Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and bring proof of age - anyone without proof of ID will be liable to pay the full adult ticket price at the gate. We also recommend anyone who looks under 21 to bring ID with them. The ages shown on the tickets refer to the age of the child/concession on the day of the festival (not the age at time of purchase).
