The new line-up has been confirmed for the third annual Playgroup Festival which has moved back a month and now runs from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd September at Eridge Park, Eridge Green, near Tunbridge Wells, in Kent.

The line-up for the event organised by Playgroup, a small Brighton collective, will include DJ Yoda, Alice Russell, Reso, Anchorsong, Herbaliser, Nedry, DJ Format, Prince Fatty, The Qemists, High Rankin, Hidden Orchestra, The Correspondents, Resonators, Belleruche, Atomic Drop, King Porter Stomp, and Lazy Habits.

They will be joined by AK/DK, Reeps1, Donkey Pitch, Carnival Collective, Los Albertos, Kalakuta Millionaires , Gaggle, King Lagoons, Flying Swordfish Band, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Coda, Moulettes, Barulho, Peppermint Beat Band, Samsara, Sam and The Womp, Phoria, Perhaps Contraption, John Crampton, AMiTY, Allison and the Earthquakes, Hyperpotamus, Cate Ferris, The Dirty Devine, Buffo's Wake, The Beautiful Word, Sweet Sweet Lies, Us Baby Bear Bones, Man Ray Sky, Running Numbers, Black Fields, London Afrobeat Collective, GGB, Blah Blah Blah, Electric Playboys, Atlantiks, Jabbawocky Hi Fi, The Wild Knights, DJ Cous Cous, Dad Disko, Mass Evil, Zen Death Squad, and Hot Tip Hi Fi.

With an expected attendance of only 3,500 guests, a handful of stages for live music, magical mystery tour buses, a cinema tent, headphone disco, installation art, fresh local produce, a family area, cabaret and walkabout performance, workshops and games, a healing area, 100% audience participation and a heavy dash of the absurd.

The Playgroup Festival is not-for-profit and is collaborating with local representatives from War on Want, Burlesque Against Breast Cancer and Climate Camp - to aid those charities.

There's a strong ecologically aware element to the festival, with the buses running on used cooking oil, solar powered generators along with a 24-hour cinema, and various extras.

Tickets are priced at £95, including three nights of camping. There's also a non refundable deposit scheme priced at £20 with a balance of £75 to pay later. A teen weekend ticket (aged 12–17 years)is priced at £77. Children aged under 12 can attend for free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
