A dozen exclusive semi-acoustic performances have been announced for this year's Jagermiester Stage at Bloodstock Open Air's line-up heading to Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire in just over two weeks from Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th August.

Folk metallers Andraste, and Dave McPherson (INME), ZP Theart, and Kyrbgrinder lead the acts confirmed for the Jager Stage. Also confirmed are Splintered Soul making an extra performance alongside their slot on the Sophie Lancaster Stage and Kobra And The Lotus promise a set consisting of Dio covers. The Jager stage line-up is completed by Absolva, Orianthi, Dakesis, Skarlett Riot, Triaxis, and The Mercy House.

Also recently announced were acts for the New Blood Stage with Cambion, Waking Theo, Exile The Traitor, My Wooden Pillow, Scare Tactics, Killer Hurts, Krepuskul, Control the Storm, Kataleptic, InComa, and Warhorse announced for Friday.

Added to Saturday's line-up are Stormborn, Wretched Soul, Father, The Cosmic Vortex of Doom, Bull Riff Stampede, Apollyon, The Conflict Within, Sublime Eyes, Tempus Fusion, and Merciless Fail.

Whilst on the final day the stage will host Shattered Skies, Incinery, Sa Da Ko, Blynd, Airstryke, Aethara, From Ruin, Seprevation, Hakin, and A Thousand Enemies.

The festival will have exclusive performances from Friday headliner Behemoth, Saturday's Machine Headl, and Sunday headliner Alice Cooper. Plus Deicide, Sanctuary, Grand Magus, Nile, Mayhem, The Black Dahlia Murder, Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed, Corrosion Of Conformity, Anaal Nathrakh, Watain, Paradise Lost, Anvil, Orange Goblin, and Doomed also confirmed.

The main stage line-up is now fully announced and the bill is nearly complete, but there is one more announcement to come in the shape of the Jagermeister acoustic stage, details of which will be revealed very shortly.

Tickets are priced at £115 for adults, and car parking is priced at £14, campervan passes are priced at £40, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £25, with day tickets expected to be on sale at a later date.

Organisers have also announced a deposit scheme which offers the chance to pay for weekend camping tickets in 3 easy instalments, with an initial payment of £36.25 if purchased before 1st March 2012. The second instalment is due on 31st March, and the third on 30th April.
