Chase & Status for Eden Sessions

Chase & Status are the latest acts announced to headline a night at this year's Eden Sessions.

The London duo, otherwise known as Saul Milton and Will Kennard, are returning to Eden having headlined the sell-out Rumble in the Jungle show at the Project in May 2010. They will be joined by Labrinth.

Martin Williams, Marketing Director at the Eden Project, said, "Chase & Status played an amazing show on their first visit to Eden so we're really looking forward to seeing them on our main Eden Sessions stage for the first time. Since they first played here, they have established themselves as one of the best urban acts in the world, redefining the genre and working with some of the top MCs around.

"Labrinth's singles have all made the top five and he has featured on one of the biggest hits of recent years, Tinie Tempah's Pass Out. With his debut album out now, we think he is set for big things and will be a great complement to Chase & Status at the Eden Sessions."

They join a line-up that includes comic Tim Minchin (Saturday June 23), dance supremo Example and grime artist Devlin (Saturday June 30), Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls headlining a day of folk music (Sunday July 1), UK soul and hip-hop star Plan B (Friday July 6) US pop-punks Blink-182 (Sunday July 8 - SOLD OUT), and Noah and the Whale, and The Vaccines (Wednesday 11th July) on the bill for the Eden Sessions in 2012. Eden Sessions have become more like a one-day festival, with three stages and acts playing from early afternoon on each day.

Tickets are priced at £35 and will go on sale at at 6pm on Tuesday 24th April when eFestivals will have links for you to buy them. Every Sessions ticket includes entry to Eden on the day of the show or the day after.

The Eden Sessions are now in their eleventh year. The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event.
