New Order lead the second raft of acts announced for Sonar, the annual three-day music festival held in Barcelona, Spain from Thursday 14th through to Saturday 16th June.

Also announced today are Die Antwoord, James Murphy, Daedelus Archimedes Show, Salyu X Salyu, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, 2 Bears, Daniel Miller, Pegasvs, Lolo & Sosaku, Ricardo Donoso, Masaki Batoh, Keys N Krates, Esperit!, Discodromo, d.Forma, Lenticular Clouds, Stand Up Against Heart Crime, Untold, Madeon, and Sinjin Hawke Vs. Zora Jones.

The line-up for the Red Bull Music Academy presents has also been revealed, these are DJ Harvey, DJ Rashad & DJ Spinn, Nguzunguzu, Club Cheval feat. Canblaster, Myd, Panteros 666 & Sam Tiba, Doc Daneeka, xxxy, Jesse Boykins III, Om Unit, Nehuen, Andrea Balency, Salva, Raisa K, Nightwave, Yosi Horikawa, Santiago Latorre, Sizarr, Exeter, Clip!, Eltron John, and Monki Valley.

The line-up this year also includes Lana Del Rey, The Roots, Deadmau5, Hot Chip, Modeselektor, James Blake, Fatboy Slim, Richie Hawtin, Amon Tobin's ISAM, Squarepusher, Nicolas Jaar, Luciano, Azari & III, Jacques Lus Cont, Friendly Fires, Metronomy, John Talabot, Mouse On Mars, BBC Radio 1 presents Annie Mac & guests and showcases from Hyperdub, Brainfeeder and 100% Silk, among others. Sónar By Day takes place in the Center of Contemporary Culture and the Museum of Contemporary Art very near to La Rambla. It usually starts around Midday and continues until around 10pm for each of the three days of the festival. This part of the festival features live bands, DJs, multimedia art, record/clothes stalls, demonstrations, a cinema, and other activities.

Sónar by Night takes place away from the centre of Barcelona, special coaches transport festival goers to the SonarPark housing four arenas showcasing DJs, VDJs and live entertainment.
