first acts announced for Magic Loungeabout

Disco legends Chic featuring Nile Rodgers will headline the Friday night at this summer's The Magic Loungeabout and lead the first acts to be announced.

Also confirmed are Lucy Rose, Cashier no 9, Jenny O., and Juan Zelada with more that 50 more performers to be announced. This year sees the festival expand with a new stage, more acts, more speakers and bigger capacity. There will also be more fun for kids and adults from Bearded Kitten, and a host of visual arts on display too.

The organisers have chosen to increase the capacity by only 1000 to help retain the carefully cultivated intimacy and escapism of the festival held again at Broughton Hall, Skipton, in Yorkshire from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th July 2012. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £112 and includes camping. Kids must be 12 years or younger on the 27th July 2012 to qualify for a free ticket which they must have for entry. A campervan ticket is priced at £22.50. There is also an installment of 3 payments of £37.34.
