first acts announced for Shepley Spring Festival 2012

There are only a few days left to get early bird tickets for next year's Shepley Spring Festival which is held in Shepley Village, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th May 2012.

	The Treacherous Orchestra

The first acts confirmed are Treacherous Orchestra, The Demon Barbers, The Melrose Quartet, The Wilsons, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, and Tickled Pink, with many more yet to be announced. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Early bird tickets are on sale. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £60 including camping if bought during August and September. Send cheques to PO Box 645, Scissett, HUDDERSFIELD, HD8 8WR with email details or address for confirmation slip.

Day tickets, and online sales will be available at a later date.

The festival has a full weekend of events celebrating the best of traditional music, song and dance, including concerts, ceilidhs, morris dancing, music and song sessions, and music and dance workshops.

As well as the concert marquee, dance tent, showground stage and more, the festival site is also home to a market and food stalls, crafts, a beer festival, and a full programme of youth and children's activities at the children's festival.
