Boot Hill All Stars
3 years ago a rogue tornado hit the The Bearded Theory Festival, in the Derbyshire Dales. This year the 'village fete gone wrong' celebrates by adding the Inkapa City created Tornado Town as a celebration and acknowledgement of the hard work and creativity that has forged the Bearded Theory Festival.

In 2011, Bearded Theory Management asked industry professionals Flounder & Morph (Inkapa City) to come on board to take on the replacement for The Beard Top stage. Both are well known to some festival goers due to their work on Endorse It In Dorset Festival.

The idea behind Tornado Town is to create a new fun area within the festival offering quality acts and has something that is a little bit different from the standard stage at a festival.

There will be a bar selling a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a cocktail bar, with DJs playing a wide selection of music throughout the day and between the bands. The new area will offer a relaxed atmosphere, where festival goers can go and chat and see some quality acts during the day. Whilst at night the tempo will pick up and the musical menu will be wide ranging being anything from Hoedown to Swing and anything in between.

Bearded Theorists can also expect competitions throughout the weekend and the area will be proudly hosting the Sunday Morning surprise slot that Bearded Theory has become famous for.

The first acts have been announced for the new area and are Roughneck Riot, Tracy Jane Sullivan, Cracked Actors, Boot Hill All Stars, Karl Phillips & The Midnight Ramblers, Pronghorn, festival regulars Back To The Planet, Los Albertos, and King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys. DJs will include Dr Quila, and House of Lydd with mmore still to be announced.

Every year Bearded Theory attempts to break the world record for the most amount of people wearing a fancy dress beards in one place and at one time.

The Tornado Town stage will join the Main Stage, Magical Sounds Stage, Waters Edge, Something Else, and Baaar Stage next year. There will also be a new little stage by the river showcasing comedy, poetry, acoustic, kids comedy club and the Saturday on this little stage will be quite special, watch this space.

Bearded Theory will be taking place at Kedleston Hall Park, in Derbyshire.

Tickets are now on sale with a weekend ticket priced at £74, 13-16 weekend tickets are priced at £40, 6-12 weekend tickets are priced at £25, children aged 5 and under are free and Family Tickets are priced at £190 (2 x adult & 2 x children).
