15 new bands for High Voltage

Fifteen new additions including the line-up for the Metal Hammer Stage have been announced for this summer's High Voltage.

The latest acts announced for High Voltage include John Lees' Barclay James Harvest who make their first performance since the death of co-founding member Stuart 'Woolly' Wolstenholme in 2010. Amplifier have also been confirmed for the Prog Stage, alongside Finnish rock siblings the Von Hertzen Brothers.

The Main Stage will also welcome Skin (band), and Rival Sons.

The Metal Hammer Stage will be headlined by Neurosis, with support from Evile, Grand Magus, Attica Rage, Ravens Creed, and Primitai.

Also headlining are Dorset doomsters Electric Wizard, with Black Spiders, Gentlemans Pistols, and Furyon also confirmed.

The two-day festival featuring classic rock, progressive rock and metal acts with over 40 playing over three stages. They join the previously announced Judas Priest and Dream Theatre who will headline the main stage with Black Country Communion, and Michael Schenker Group also confirmed. The first acts announced for the Prog Stage are Jethro Tull making a UK exclusive appearance, Spock's Beard, Caravan, Mostly Autumn, Pallas, and The Enid. High Voltage takes place at London's Victoria Park over the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July 2011.

Tickets are priced at £99 for weekend tickets and £56.50 for day tickets.

High Voltage have also announced a deposit scheme. This applies to any weekend ticket and allows festival goers to spread the cost of the ticket over 2 payments. General Admission and VIP weekend tickets can be purchased with an initial £50 deposit plus booking fee, with the final payment due on 1st June.
