first acts announced for Hard Rock Hell V

The first four acts have been announced for Hard Rock Hell V returning to Pontins, in North Wales in December.

The first batch of bands are confirmed as The Quireboys, Tyketto, a rare appearance from Dan Baird (and Homemade Sin) who will cover many musical exploits as well as a lot of the Georgia Satellites material, and Finnish rockers Reckless Love.

Hard Rock Hell returns for its fifth edition as a three day event, this time dubbed as 'Village of the Damned' and takes place at Pontins Holiday Village, Prestatyn Sands, North Wales from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th December.

HRH V will span 6 arenas, and the line-up will contain, Glam, Sleaze, NWOBHM, Young Blood, Thrash, Metal, Classic Rock and a touch of Blues. It will stage about 62 bands over the three days.

Ticket prices start at £155 per person for weekend based on two people sharing - other options have sold out. This year there is the option to pay a £45 deposit per person now and the remaining total will be due by 30th September 2011. All tickets include free parking. Click here to buy.

Prestatyn has only limited numbers of apartments for 2's and 3's. The main bulk of apartments sleep 4, 5, 6 and 7. HRH set their ticket prices per apartment and the more people you put in it, the cheaper the ticket will be. A seven person apartment is priced at £770.
