Dengue Fever have cancelled their whole UK tour including appearances at this year's The End of the Road and Bestival.

Dengue Fever were forced to cancel their whole UK tour due to being signed to a new label and having to go into the studio immediately to meet album deadlines.

On very short notice festival organisers at The End of the Road have managed to confirm Steve Mason (formerly of the Beta Band, King Biscuit Time & more) to replace Dengue Fever.

Dengue Fever have sent their sincere apologies and hope to make it to End of the Road next year instead.

End of the Road takes place at Larmer Tree Gardens, near Salisbury, in Wiltshire over the weekend of Friday 10th to Sunday 12th September. Headliners are Modest Mouse, Yo La Tengo, and Wilco. Plus The New Pornographers, Iron & Wine, Cymbals Eat Guitars, The Low Anthem, Black Mountain, Dengue Fever, Frank Fairfield, The Felice Brothers, The Unthanks, The Antlers, Elliott Brood, Cate Le Bon, Django Django, Forest Fire, Jonny Kearney & Lucy Farrell, Joe Pug, Ladyhawk, Jessica Lea Mayfield, The Ruby Suns, Snowman, Timber Timbre, Diane Cluck with Andy Griffin, AA Bondy, and more. Bestival takes place at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight over the weekend of Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th September 2010. For this year's theme Bestival will become a world of Fantasy and acts already confirmed include Dizzee Rascal and Hot Chip on Friday, The Flaming Lips and Roxy Music on Saturday, and The Prodigy on Sunday, plus Wailers, Wild Beats, Mumford & Sons, Chic, Tricky, The Temper Trap, The xx, Richie Hawtin presents Plastikman Live, Fever Ray, Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Gil Scott-Heron, Chase & Status, Echo and the Bunnymen, Simian Mobile Disco, Delphic, Rolf Harris, Howard Jones, Marc Almond, and many more.
