M.I.A., and chart topper Tinie Tempah for Underage

This week's UK chart topping number one artist Tinie Tempah joins headliner M.I.A. and more as the first acts to be announced for Underage Festival.

Just as his single is confirmed as a new entry straight in at this week's number one, Tinie Tempah, has been announced amongst the first acts confirmed for the fourth edition of the Underage Festival for those aged under 19.

Appearing before the young audience, and joining the chart topper will be M.I.A., and Underage favourites Tinchy Stryder, Hadouken!, Caspa & Rod Azlan, Chase & Status, and Lightspeed Champion.

Future potential chart toppers are also represented with Ellie Goulding, Egyptian Hip Hop, Daisy Dares You, and Gold Panda all confirmed for Underage 2010 which returns to Victoria Park, Hackney, London on Sunday 1st August 2010.

Radio 1's Annie Mac will be bringing her Annie Mac presents showcase to Victoria Park playing host in the Converse Tent.

Late Of The Pier Sound System a new side project from the lauded new ravers will be making an appearance at Underage, as will General Fiasco, New Young Pony Club, Jakwob, Is Tropical, Rox, Stornoway, Sub Focus, and Unicorn Kid, with more names still be announced.

Underage Festival is an event for 14 to 18 year olds (strictly no over-18s; 18-year olds are welcome) and is run by London's Underage club. Musical savvy youngsters are able to attend on their own getting away from their parents and have fun and watch live acts across multiple stages.
