Dizzee Rascal, The Flaming Lips, and Hot Chip, are amongst the first names to be confirmed for Bestival which returns to Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, and happens for four days next year from Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th September 2010.

The newly confirmed acts include Dizzee Rascal, The Flaming Lips, Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Gil Scott-Heron, Chase & Status, Echo and the Bunnymen, Simian Mobile Disco, Delphic, Rolf Harris, and Marc Almond.

Also heading for the September bash are dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Ellie Goulding, Fat Freddy's Drop, Flying Lotus, Four Tet, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Stornoway, Tinie Tempah, Vitalic, and of course festival regulars The Cuban Brothers.

Also appearing over the weekend will be Chilly Gonzales, Beardyman, Tunng, Hurts, the Gaslamp Killer, The Vegetable Orchestra, Ulrich Schnauss, Twinkle Brothers, the High Llamas, The Antlers, Archie Bronson Outfit, Beth Jeans Houghton, Mixhell, Glen Matlock, Samuel and the Dragon, and The Japanese Popstars.

The list of the first live acts to be confirmed is completed with The Lost Brothers, Hear We Go Magic, Goldhawks, Countryside Alliance, Laura J Martin, A Genuine Freakshow, The Bookhouse Boys, King Charles, Three Trapped Tigers, Worship, French Horn Rebellion, Sisters of Transistors, Spindle and Wit, Starless and Bible Black, The Boy Who Trapped The Sun, Tim and Sam's Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam, Telegraphs, and Unicorn Kid.

Joining host Rob da Bank behind the decks with DJ sets will be Annie Mac, David Rodigan, Ewan Pearson, Dixon, Greg Wilson, Nathan Fake, Huw Stephens, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jaguar Skills, Joy Orbison, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Derek, Gregs Greats, SBTRKT, Ramadanman, Seth Troxler, Untold, The Broken Hearts, and Back To The Phuture.

It has also been the confirmation of the main stage getting a new home. Also confirmed is the return of The Afterburner stage which will be doubling in size. Other new attractions will include The Castle In The Sky Bonfire Extravaganza and the Wishing Tree Field that will feature a sculpture garden. The Village will also be transformed in to Tomorrow's World envisaging an inspired, sustainable and green and fun future including a solar powered Bandstand and free solar mobile phone charging and a few regular treats including the Pub, WI Tent and Farmers Market.

Adult tickets are on sale priced at £150. Ticket holders aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*.

Children aged 13 to 15 tickets are priced at £75. Age 13 to 15 Child Tickets are for anyone aged 13 to 15 on 04/09/2009. Child ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*.

Age 12 & Under Child Tickets: FREE (ticket required) Age 12 & Under Child Tickets are for anyone aged 12 and under on 04/09/2009. Child Ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*. All Tickets include camping.
