Bombay Bicycle Club, Wild Beasts, Daniel Johnston, The Rumble Strips, Maps lead the latest raft of acts confirmed for free shows at this year's Liverpool Music Week festival which starts at the end of this month.

The festival will be happening across 20 city centre venues during the 2 week festival includes an array of free shows will also see performances from the newly announced Chrome Hoof, The Invisible, Grammatics, Dananananaykroyd, Jay Reatard, The Holloways, Field Music, Son of Dave, and Jaguar Skills.

The latest acts also include Sound Of Guns, Crazy P, Marina and the Diamonds, Detroit Social Club, Screaming Lights, and Dinosaur Pile-Up.

Other acts previously confirmed to perform at Liverpool Music Week 2009 include Kasabian, The Specials, Calvin Harris, Seasick Steve, Reverend & The Makers, The Enemy, Gallows, The Bays, and Twisted Wheel.

Liverpool Music Week is billed as the UK's largest indoor winter music festival and will be staging over 80 events, across 26 venues and will play host to over 250 live bands. The festival format is a combination of ticketed shows and free shows, with artists including the well known live acts, and new emerging talent.
