Echo and The Bunnymen have been announced as the Friday headliner on the second stage at this month's Hard Rock Calling.

Eighties indie band, Echo and The Bunnymen, will top the bill on the The Pepsi Max Stage the same night as The Killers play Hard Rock Calling. They will top a bill that already includes Metric and Silversun Pickups.

The event which has now been extended to a three-day event, from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th June and features a main stage, second stage and a festival feel with site art, stalls, food, and drink vendors. The Killers headline the Friday night with support from The Kooks, and Howling Bells. Neil Young will headline the Saturday night and will be joined on the bill by Fleet Foxes, Ben Harper & Relentless7, Seasick Steve, and The Pretenders. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will headlining on Sunday 28th June, with support from Dave Matthews Band, James Morrison, and The Gaslight Anthem.
