more acts announced for GuilFest

The Beat, Linda Lewis, and Rock Choir all confirmed for this summer's family friendly GuilFest.

Newly confirmed to perform on the Main Stage sponsored by University of Surrey on Sunday are The Beat, and Linda Lewis. The Rock Choir will be opening both the Main Stage and Ents24 stage this year on Saturday and Sunday at 12-midday.

The 800 strong Rock Choir will be showcasing choreographed routines and harmonies on both stages with numbers including 'Signed Sealed Delivered', 'Love Really Hurts Without You', 'Walking on Broken Glass', 'Something Inside So Strong' 'Joyful Joyful' 'Mamma Mia', and 'Dancing in the Street'.

They are the latest acts to join a line-up that already features headliners Motorhead, Brian Wilson, and Happy Mondays plus Will Young, The Stranglers, The Charlatans, Joe Bonamassa, Pendulum (DJ Set), DJ Yoda, The BossHoss, The Wailers, The Lightning Seeds, Eddi Reader, Hamsters, Rusko, We are the Ocean, Ghost of a Thousand, Chris Liberator, Subgiant, Hexes, Sharks, Brotherhood of the Lake, Subsource, Mood Deluxe Live, Wobbly Squadron, Liquid Ross, Ipcress, & Nagual Sound Experiment, The King Blues, Athlete, Nouvelle Vague, Imelda May, Eat Static, September, Ironik, and Fugative, have also been confirmed. GuilFest has seven music stages and takes place at Stoke Park, Guildford in Surrey from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2009.

Tickets are priced at £100 for an adult weekend, £110 weekend with camping. For children aged between 12 and 16 years old tickets are priced at £50 for the weekend, or £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult.
